2012/2013 Icons.

It is the New Year tomorrow.
So to mark 2013 I decided to look back at the Darlings of fashion in 2012.
There have been many many occasions which have been noteworthy but to me, there are certain people that have graced style pages throughout the year and will continue to do so.

Here are some pictures via Vogue of the best dressed people in 2012.
These are a few of my favourite icons.

Alexa Chung

Cara D.

Dree Hemmingway

Diane Kruger.

Kiera Knightley

Kate Moss.

I have always loved all of these girls and of course Cara D will be the brightest thing of 2013.
They will always be in style.

Happy 2013!

Cara Delevingne for Chanel Resort 2013.

She is the girl that everyone loves right now.
And now has become a muse for Karl Lagerfeld.
Cara Delevingne is the new face of Chanel Resort 2013.

Having recently appeared in Anna Karenina which I totally loved, the choice for Chanel seems periodic with modern twists added.
Again Romanticism is a big feature and Cara suits it really well.

The The Telegraph Fashion Section have likened her to Kiera with a love for acting and now being a Chanel muse.

I LOVE Kiera....................I LOVE Cara.

Simple.

Dressing Iconic.

Who else fantasizes about their favourite icons' dresses?
Well the V & A museum are currently exhibiting Hollywood costumes and Ballgowns.
Costume is one of the main effects for any good film.
Here are some of my favourite iconic gowns....and they are all from old and recent films made timeless.
Also certain celebrities that have made dresses famous...

Gone with the Wind 1939. Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara.

Marilyn Monroe in The Seven Year Itch 1955

Audrey Hepburn in my favourite movie Breakfast At Tiffany's 1961

Kiera Knightley in Atonement 2007.

Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw in SATC 2008

Liz Hurley in THAT Versace dress 1994.

And of course...not forgetting Disney characters...

Walt Disney's Beauty and the Beast 1991.

Beautiful.
