The Return of John Galliano.

This is exciting news!
After that terrible incident and sacking from Dior in 2011, John Galliano is returning to the fashion scene.
New York Fashion Week will host his comeback show.
For the time being his good friend Oscar de la Renta is letting him have some of his studio to work in.
Since his dismissal from Dior, John created that beautiful wedding dress for Kate Moss.
For a very long time, Galliano has been the King of Romantic style and of course his gorgeous Couture collections.

With close friend Kate Moss.

Calling all fashion lovers....
its time to get back on the Galliano bandwagon.
Salute the King of Couture and Great Romantic Style.

2012/2013 Icons.

It is the New Year tomorrow.
So to mark 2013 I decided to look back at the Darlings of fashion in 2012.
There have been many many occasions which have been noteworthy but to me, there are certain people that have graced style pages throughout the year and will continue to do so.

Here are some pictures via Vogue of the best dressed people in 2012.
These are a few of my favourite icons.

Alexa Chung

Cara D.

Dree Hemmingway

Diane Kruger.

Kiera Knightley

Kate Moss.

I have always loved all of these girls and of course Cara D will be the brightest thing of 2013.
They will always be in style.

Happy 2013!

The French Know How To Do It.

For those of you who like me love Isabel Marant and  Zadig & Voltaire, you will adore Maje. An amazing French label with very chic and dare I say it....some affordable prices at times. However Maje have introduced Brigitte Bardot T-shirts.

A few of the well known photos have been blown up to cover the shirts and they look fantastic. Prices for these start at £100.

Here are some photos of Brigitte Bardot when she was at her very best. Having people such as Kate Moss following her style, she will always remain a legend and style Icon. Also have a browse through her music.....its all in French & very very good!

Brigitte with icon Jane Birkin.

The French really do have that 'Je ne sais quoi'.

Pete Doherty For The Kooples.

Already being a huge fan of The Kooples, it wasn't a matter of time before one of my favourite musicians had to do something. Libertines and BabyShambles singer Pete Doherty has designed a capsule collection for the brand. Annoyingly postponed due to Prison, it is finally here!! Pete having dated Kate Moss knows a thing or two about fashion. Therefore he has done designs for both men and women. Irina Lazareanu who has modeled for Moss has helped.

Here are some pictures of the collection.

Inspired by his favourite subcultures which are also mine, this appeals so much to me. Use of Mod's and the  60's along with vintage and dandy tastes as well as tomboy but feminine cuts work so well.

My love for Pete grows still.....
